STEM education is a trans-disciplinary method of learning that aims to teach students using concepts and practices from disciplines of Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics.
STEM lab brings out and tempers the scientific and engineering skills of the students at a very early stage, thus encouraging them to emerge as team players.
Students get opportunity to apply knowledge, think beyond boundaries of the subject and get an interdisciplinary perception. They discover themselves as designers. The connections they are able to make between their core learning (subjects) and the real world increases their engagement levels in regular class room.
English is treated as a language and great emphasis is given to speaking and listening. Communication skill is developed using the listening and speaking activities as it is conducive for non native speakers of English. Vocabulary, grammar, comprehension is also practiced through games. Special focus is given to phonetics, voice intonation and modulation.
